Client Comments - Here are some remarks from folks
for whom I have made, rebuilt, or repaired rods.

1.  I’m glad I had it done and can’t thank you enough.   It’s a very attractive job.  And I’m glad I sent it to you to
have done.

2.  Richard, The wrapping jig arrived.  Looks great.  Thanks.

3.  Rod arrived safe and sound as well as the goodie bag. Thanks for the hat, pins, etc-a nice surprise.
We went to the park as soon as I got home from work. The rod casts effortlessly and the action is perfect. The
cosmetics and finish are outstanding, particularly the reel seat.

4. Afternoon, Richard.
Hey, just wanted to share with you my first adventures with the Granger Victory.  I ended up putting a Hardy
Featherweight on the rod.
Fished below Shep’s Bend again and landed my best trout of the week, a nice 14 inch brown.  The fish put a
nice bend in the rod, and gave me my first real experience as to how the rod will handle with a larger fish.
Good stiff butt section, and fine mid flexing as I worked to bring the fish to my hand.  Once again I slimed the
cork as I thought this nicer fish deserved to have its slime on the fly rod too.
Anyway, I wanted thank you once again for bringing that rod to life for me.  I enjoyed fishing it very much
(never did take out any of my graphite rods), and was proud to show it off to folks at Gates on Saturday, and to
anyone else who I bumped into on the water.
Thanks, Richard, and have a great day.

5. I received the packages. I can't thank you enough for your prompt response. I am still admiring the
craftsmanship of the rod you built and shipped to me! To say that I am pleased is an understatement!
Incredible!  Thank you so much for such an outstanding product

Richard,
Just wanted to touch base with you and again tell you how pleased I am with the rod you built! Incredible! I just
returned from my annual "cast and blast" trip to Montana. The upland bird hunting was great as usual, but I
was most pleased fishing with the cane rod! Attached is a pic of just one of the many trout I caught with the
rod. This particular pic was taken along the Deerborn River, but I fished the Blackfoot, the Sun River and the
Clark's Fork as well.
Thanks again!

My son was blown away when he saw it.  He's looking for a reel with something to keep from scratching the reel
seat.  Says it's really "gorgeous".  So I'd say he is a happy fly fisherman.
thanks so much Richard.

Hi Richard!

I hope this email finds you well. I just returned from a once in a lifetime moose hunt (literally, here in WA it is a
special permit drawing and the applicant can only be drawn once in their lifetime.) At any rate we packed in with
horses and camped on a little lake brimming with Westslope Cutthroat trout. I got my moose but one of the hi-
lights for me on the trip was taking my canoe out and fly-fishing for the trout with my RKP Cane rod! Just FYI...
it has been featured in a couple of the articles I have done for Hooks and Horns Magazine, and the Sportsmans
News. Everyone that sees it loves it! At any rate here is pic of the rod with a few fish I kept for dinner. Hope all
is well. Take care!
